Questions of Sex, Success, Partners, and... Spanking?

“One painful duty fulfilled makes the next plainer and easier.”
-- Helen Keller

How do you make your marriage a successful and happy one?
Marry your best friend, practice good communication, work on the marriage together as equal partners, and always be honest and loyal. If it doesn’t work out, part the good friends you’ve always been.
What is the difference between fathers and mothers?
You’re being serious, right? Nowadays, one is male and the other is female might be true. The male is the sperm donor and the female is the birth mother. Back in the day, this was less complicated with separation of responsibilities. The female would take on the responsibility of home and child-rearing and the male would go to work to earn money to support the family. For the most part, this model has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Everyone wants to work, couples with kids aren’t necessarily married, some fathers stay home with the kids, married couples aren’t necessarily male and female and mother and father can be a choice they make. It has become a bit more complicated.
How can I believe that I will succeed in life?

Choose to be happy always and in all things, and then make it happen regardless of monetary status. This is true “success” in life, everything else is just about attaining goals.
Do we resist what we want the most as a defense mechanism?
For the most part, I think this is true. When I was a young man I was hell on earth. But, approaching 70, I might want things that cost too much, but I also want to stay out of debt. I wanted a woman much younger than I was, but I knew this most probably wouldn’t work out. What I want the most is always outside of what I consider my “real” world, so I resist the urge of fantasy and live an uncomplicated and realistic life. My greatest adventure starts each new day… when I wake up.
Should you have a conversation about cheating with your partner?

You might as well put your desires on the table now, that way you both know where you stand. Secrets are the death knell for relationships.
“If you think that your partner has been cheating, then take a look at their will. If a past lover is in there, then it is probable that some form of infidelity has occurred.”
-- Steven Magee
What do you do when your partner "doesn't" believe that you said something and he wants you to admit that you didn't say it?
If you really said it, tell him to go screw himself. Why would your partner want you to lie and corrupt your personal code of ethics? If he’s too immature to handle the truth, maybe you need a new partner that can.
Is religion beyond reality?
Most “belief,” not based on fact, rely on “faith,” any belief in something for which there is little or no proof. If there is little or no proof, then faith tends to leave the path of known reality.

Religion can be steeped in reality, or a God or gods, which would require faith since the God or gods probably cannot be proved beyond a doubt. Since there are over 10,000 distinct religions, worldwide, it evidences the difficulty of proving belief.

Because of this mountain of “conflicting” faith, I choose my own spiritual path than those of “organized” or known religions.
Reader comment:  It is impossible to make any decision in isolation to knowledge and previous experience.  These inform every single decision you make.  Thus nothing outside of religion requires faith.  Not a damn thing.

My opinion:  The "bait" reeks of a member of the League of the Perpetually Offended.  Possibly an atheist.  I will leave it alone

Why do I want to impregnate my teacher so much?
Puberty can be a bitch?  Is she attractive?
Why do people answer questions when they just babble and not give an answer?
Not really a question? Not a good question? Might even be a confusing question. On the flip side, I read four or five paragraphs of a “university speak” answer when I can tell the question was probably written by someone who won’t understand most of it.

It is difficult to know your audience when they are all strangers. The best rule of thumb is to keep the answer short and simple. Life really isn’t that complicated, after all.
Are you at the mercy of who you were yesterday?
I hope not, or I’m not paying as much attention to life as I thought I was.
“Thank the past for all the lessons it taught you; anticipate the future for all the blessings it has in store for you.”
-- Matshona Dhliwayo
Should you care what your friends, parents and family, and the community or society think of or say about your romantic relationship? Especially if some aspects of the relationship don't conform to family values or societal norms?
I believe in love. However, some may know more about your potential partner than you do. If what they say is true, I’d like to hear from my "prospective" life partner why I’m hearing the truth about them from someone else. Starting a relationship on hidden truth is not a good sign, and lies are even worse.

Whether the relationship conforms to societal or family values or norms? Bite me! I’m in love. Change is the only true constant in the universe.

What is something you did effortlessly yesterday?
I cooked salmon, collard greens, and twice-baked potatoes, dinner for three. I love to cook, so the effort was almost nil.
Can any woman ever love you like your mother?
I would hope so… unless you’re making love to your mother. There are many kinds of love, the love of a mother is one, and the love of another woman, like a wife or girlfriend, can be two others. Love of your pet, a doughnut, the great outdoors, friends, are all kinds of love. Some things we love can’t return our love, but we love anyway. It is what it is.
Are you grateful for reaching the age you have?
Yes! My dad told me the men on his side only live to about 45. He made it to almost 89, and at 68, I plan on beating that.
Which of your skills has had the biggest impact on your nest egg?
Management and supervision.
“The ability to make wise choices is the most valuable skill a person can develop.”
-- Abhishek Ratna
Should gays start killing themselves?
Only if Nazis are in charge of the planet.

“Paragraph 175 was the statute of the German criminal code that banned sexual relations between men. During the Nazi period, the police arrested about 100,000 men for allegedly violating this statute. Approximately fifty percent of these men were convicted. In some cases, this led to their imprisonment in concentration camps.”
Homosexuals, the "infirm," cripples, dwarves and other "aberrations" were, for the most part, sent to concentration camps, which meant they were soon to populate the ovens which operated 24/7/365. Genocide, redefined to assembly-line efficiency by the insane.

Insane? That would make the Nazis' "aberrations" to the norm, right? Personally, I think we should have populated the ovens with the Nazis who operated them. But, this would have been very Nazi of us to do, so we sent them to the hangman or to prison. Basically, they got off easy.

How do you feel about sex with strangers?
Russian Roulette.
What are some ways to satisfy my wife (nonsexual)?

Flowers, dinner, dancing, do some of her chores occasionally, and tell her that you love her. The other thing you can do is ask her this question.
How do I convince my girl to spank me harder?
Hand her a leather strap and tell her to lean into it.
My boyfriend never apologizes when he's wrong, instead, he initiates sex. Is that okay?
No, and I hope you don’t buy into that bullshit. If he’s wrong he needs to admit it, or why are you with him? The next thing he’ll do is start blaming you for him being wrong. You need to start calling him down on this.
“Would 'sorry' have made any difference? Does it ever? It's just a word. One word against a thousand actions.”
-- Sarah Ockler
Does it feel better to be a slut rather than gain no friends?
I’ve known many sluts who had friends. One doesn’t negate the other.
How did you create order out of chaos in your life?
I got a divorce from the “chaos” in my life. I’ve been happy ever since. Find out what your chaos is and cut it loose. If there is more than one, cut them all loose. Drama and chaos are those things we, usually. invite into our lives without realizing the repercussions they will cause us. Better we should stay clear of all of it.
I dreamt of someone digging a hole. What does it mean?
Do you have life insurance?
I am a female. I had a dream I was masturbating and I started to orgasm. It felt so intense & I started breathing harder and woke up. The feeling dissipated almost as soon as I woke up. Did I really orgasm or was this just a dream? Is this normal?
Have you ever seen a dog running in its sleep? Or a cat? People do the same stuff. It would be no surprise, to me, for you to arouse yourself while dreaming and experience a real orgasm. I wish most of the women I’ve known had that problem.
Why do people ask about you?
I’m a popular guy?
"Stop asking why I'm still single. I don't ask why you're still married."

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch, it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either opinion any more right or wrong than the other. An opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form opinions of their own, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

It is my fervent hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions put forth. After over twenty years with military intelligence, I have come to believe engaging each other in this manner and in this arena is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience, and what we do afterward.
