Questioning Gender, Bad, Change, and Philosophy

“But be warned, deep down, I’m just an ordinary guy who puts his fishnets on one leg at a time like everyone else.”
-- Blair Evans

If I was born in the wrong gender and wanted to wear women’s clothing, what should I do?
Learn to shave your legs and walk in heels.
Do pain and suffering really make us behave like an asshole/jerk?
On this site, it seems to run about 50/50, along with denial on so many levels. It seems the only thing known for certain is what caused the pain and suffering. After that… Duck! Incoming!
What is your least unique trait?
I’m average.
Do many people think they need to be positive all the time to have a good life?
I doubt if you can be miserable and have a good life unless you equate misery as good. You can strive to be happy all the time, and you’d probably have a pretty good life. “Striving” to be truly happy leaves the door open, just a bit, for the occasional unhappiness. But, the more you strive to be truly happy always and in all things, the less you find yourself having the “occasional” unhappiness. Life is good! Any day on this side of the dirt is a good day!
How do you respond to a waitress giving you her number?
“Lady, I keep telling you… no.”
"Someday all my dreams will come true."

Is it right for a boss to say "I was wrong"?
Only if he wants the respect he thinks he deserves.
Who has more to lose when breaking a promise, an atheist or theist?
I would think the theist does. The is a special place in hell for theists who break promises. Unless the atheist believes in an afterlife, dead is game-over. As for dealing with the repercussions here, for both atheists and theists, it depends on how the people you know care about ethical behavior.
What’s something that’s in every country?
Their flag.
What is the right answer for "how long you would like to work in this company"?
"Until I retire or you decide I should retire."
When I feel poorly, I don’t feel like texting people. Does that make me a bad person?
No. Being a bad person makes you a bad person. Feeling poorly makes you not well. Feel free to share this with “friends” so they don’t jump to judge, which, of course, no true friend would.
“The moment you feel you have to prove your worth to someone is the moment to absolutely and utterly walk away.”
-- Alysia Harris
Why don’t people like being around me?
A poor attitude or poor personal hygiene?
Why did people look down on you?
I didn’t stand up for myself. When I finally learned to, I joined the military intelligence field. When I retired I stopped caring if they looked. Sooner or later they have to sleep.
For us to identify our own strengths and weaknesses, what do we usually do?
Make a try at being honest.
Is philosophy anything we want to call it?
It is as long as it meets the definition of “the study of the theoretical basis of a particular branch of knowledge or experience.” Your own particular branch of knowledge or experience would, then, be considered your own philosophy.
What is the possible means to escape from war?
Run in the opposite direction.
"Whoever wants to win a war has to stop it right away. This is the only way."

Will your personality change in the next six years?
I’ll be 75. What do you think?
What rule(s) do you live by?
Treat everyone fairly, honestly, selflessly, and with respect. Stand by my personal code of moral ethics. Never bring a knife to a fistfight, bring a 9mm semi-auto. I’m too damned old to fight.
Do you think that God has lust? If so, how does he relieve it?
Stop sticking your tongue out in the rain. Better safe than sorry. Just saying.
Why is it that everybody does not deserve you?
I’m much too pretty and humble for most.
Who do you share your thoughts most with?
Other than here, with myself. I’m the only one I trust to understand me and to give me the correct feedback.
“What we learn through sharing our memories and our sadness's and our little victories with each other is that it’s okay to feel sad. Or lost. Or angry. It’s okay to feel a whole host of things that other people might not understand, and often for a long time. Everyone has his or her own journey. We don’t judge.”
-- Jojo Moyes
How can I use social media to become more popular in real life?
Don’t. Go out and live a real life. Popularity will find you.
Why do some people refuse to change?
They can refuse all they want, but they change all the time, regardless of their ignorant denial. Change is the only true constant in the universe. Wake up tomorrow, one day older. Change waits for no one.
Is it normal for people to be very quiet if they don't care?
I don’t care about bullshit, and I’m usually quiet when I’m around it. Yep, it’s true.
How would you describe the way you are behaving at the moment?
Sedate.
What is your work philosophy? What do you value most in work?
Work hard, work right, meet schedules, and value good management and communication.
"Dignity does not consist in possessing honors, but in deserving them."
-- Aristotle

Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch, it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either opinion any more right or wrong than the other. An opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form opinions of their own, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

It is my fervent hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions put forth. After over twenty years with military intelligence, I have come to believe engaging each other in this manner and in this arena is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience, and what we do afterward.

Ordained 1n 2013 as an "interfaith" minister, he founded the Congregation for Religious Tolerance in response to intolerance shown by Christians toward peaceful Islam. As the weapon for his war on intolerance he chose the pen, and wages his "battle" in the guise of the Congregation's official online blog, The Path, of which he is both author and editor. "The Path" offers a vehicle for commentary and guidance concerning one's own personal, spiritual, path toward peace and the final destination for us all.
