Questioning Hunger, Love, Answers, Judging, God, and Touching

"A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
-- Hannibal Lecter

What does it mean if a guy says he has been craving you?
A possible night of unforgettable sex?  Or, he could be hungry.  Are you tender?
How do you convince a believer that their Bible end-time prophesies are false?
If your faith in your belief was more than they have in their beliefs, faith is still simply a belief in something for which there is little or no proof. You can’t prove they are wrong any more than you can prove that you’re right, and they have the same problem. The "proof" lies in the existence of an afterlife and what may await those who believe, if at all. There is a thought that, at the time of death, the believers will revel in this, and the naysayers will simply experience nothing. Time will tell.
How do you show your love to a person already in a relationship but says they love you too?
Screw each other’s brains out, so you’ll know if their divorce is worth the time and trouble.
What does it mean to give someone space? Is it the same as giving up on them?
No. You’re giving them time to figure out how they feel or to work out an issue. The phrase is, sometimes, followed by, “If you need me, call me. I’m always here for you.”
Can you explain the difference between being blunt and saying what you mean?
Being blunt is being short and concise in saying exactly what you mean.  I have no filter.
“There is nothing more pure and beautiful than a person who always speaks truthfully with a childlike heart.”
-- Suzy Kassem
Is the meaning of assertiveness just communicating your feelings and opinions?
Pretty much, and without being aggressive.
How long does it take to develop love after marriage?
You don’t marry unless you are in love already. If you’re waiting for love, divorce may pay a visit first. This question has it all bassackwards unless it is an “arranged” marriage, in which case love may never set in. How do you love someone you are told to marry if they don’t love you already? Some cultures believe in this, yet it seems so backward.
Is it rude to ask why people want loans?
Not if you’re the loan officer.
Why won't my husband go down on me?
You either need to bathe… or going down is not his thing. You should have known this before saying “yes” if it’s an issue.
What are some examples of people who are not corruptible?
People who follow a good, moral-based "code of ethics" that they will stand by until death.
“Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.”
-- C.S. Lewis

My long-distance girlfriend is moving, and we’re still going to be LDR, but she is changing schools, and I’m stressed over her meeting other guys and finding someone better. I don’t know what to do.  What can I do?
Nothing. This is a test of her relationship with you.  Why don't you try to be better?
What is an answer to "Do you know why I like you"?
I’m one of the good guys. I operate per a good, moral code of ethical conduct as I travel my humble path. I strive to keep drama from my door and to be truly happy always and in all things, regardless of my circumstances.
Can you give some examples of low-wisdom characters?
Fritz the Cat and Roger Rabbit.
If your boss's daughter is rude to you, how would you handle it?
I wouldn’t talk to her anymore. If the boss asks me why, I’ll let them know. Until then, it is none of their business. It is between the daughter and me.
Why do I get anxious and panic when my mom cleans my room?
Pornography? What’s in there that you are afraid she’ll see or find?
“If you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself.”
-- George Orwell
Why does my boyfriend just want to take over my social media?
Lack of trust? You should talk to him about trust issues.
What are some ways leaders show their authority over subordinates when leaders are not giving direct orders (such as while being friendly)?
Leaders and subordinates should not fraternize unless the chain of command is well understood. In the military, the rank structure reminds us to pay attention to this “chain of command” and not get too lax.
Can you have more than one best friend in school/college?
Yes! The more, the better. But you can only have one “best-est” friend.
Why do people judge me behind my back?
They know if they do it to your face, you’ll chew their ass. They probably have more issues than you do, and they’re afraid you know those.
Is it a good sign or a bad sign, when a blackbird perched on the windowsill and made bad sounds? Well, I think that I answered my own question. Share your experience, then.
Watch your back…
“If a black cat crosses your path, it signifies that the animal is going somewhere.”
-- Groucho Marx

What is a wife? What would you expect of her and yourself in this situation?
In what situation?
How desperate does a guy have to be to accept and date a single mother, especially when she wanted nothing to do with him in her prime? Her looks have faded, her body is used, and her womanhood is probably loose especially if she had kids.
He has to be as desperate as the mother. She wants to date someone younger, knowing her body shows the ravages of time, and men her age will balk.
What is it that actually holds a relationship together?
Honesty. Good communication helps, but being honest to a fault is my go-to.
Can God give us something without us asking for it?
God gave you life and His love. God gives you life each morning, and you probably don’t ask for it. You might thank God for giving you another day on this side of the dirt, but did you, actually, ask him for it? Now, think about His love
Am I a loser for asking someone to do something with me on my birthday? They read the message but totally ignored it.
They must be young. Older people would jump at the chance.
“I believe when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade...and try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.”
-- Ron White
How can couples rebuild trust after a partner has lied?
The “lier” has to watch their P’s and Q’s, or call it quits with their partner. it is a tough row to hoe once trust has been violated.

I hit my girlfriend. Am I wrong about that?

That was a dumbass thing to do. Do you still have your balls? Your penis? Don’t go to sleep, she may go "Bobbitt" on your ass.
Why do people tend to change their values when it is convenient?
Because it isn’t just convenient, it is very convenient. People who change their values when it is convenient should understand that most people recognize when they do it. This causes trust issues. A person’s values are supposed to reflect the good, moral “code of ethical conduct” that defines who they are to the people around them.
What is the difference between "he be angry" and "he is angry"?
One is spoken in “ebonics,” and the other is in proper English.
Are tornadoes part of God’s plan?
Yep. It is part of God’s weather plan on planets with an atmosphere. Why do we build homes and businesses where God planned tornadoes and hurricanes?  Perhaps a better question.
“God’s plan is so perfect. That he made every person to be dependent on nature. To be dependent on other people. To be dependent on him to live and to survive. Next time think twice when you want to take nature, people, or God out of your life. Think twice when you want to destroy nature and other people because you might be destroying yourself. No matter how perfect, rich, or good you are, you always need others to survive."
-- DJ Kyos
Why are marriages failing nowadays?
They jump before they know each other. Lust is not love, and looks fade. Would they still love them if they were severely injured in combat? If not, why are they getting married?
How do you respond to a roommate who lectures you about something you forgot to clean up? Meanwhile, they are selfish, break house rules,  and don’t have regard for you? I said, "I’ll try to do better next time."
Tell them, “Says the person who constantly breaks the house rules and has no regard for me. Why don’t you try not being a hypocrite, and I’ll try cleaning up after myself? How about we try that?”
Can you make a quote of “friends who hang out with the person who hurt me...”?
“Friends who hang out with the person who hurt me are not my friends.”
What is it called when someone constantly touches you "just because they can"? This person isn't someone I can go against.
A pain in the ass. I’d stay away from them or find someone bigger who is willing to “constantly touch them.” I’d berate them in front of everyone for touching you “inappropriately.” Let everyone define for themselves what “inappropriately” means. They might kick your ass, but the “touching” might stop, too.
I'm tired of my many attempts to succeed. Why do many of my attempts fail?
Try this out:

“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
-- Thomas A. Edison

Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions offered. After over twenty years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
