Questioning Criticism, Holocaust, Bigots, Perspective, Jobs, and "Untied"

“You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.”
-- Winston Churchill

Would you stay in a relationship with someone who constantly criticized you?
No. I did that for 25 years. Enough is enough.
What is an appropriate response to, "May God be with you," in English?
“And with you, my friend.”
I'm 22 years old and my mom still beats me up. What do I do?
Time to leave home.
What do you do if your boyfriend doesn’t like your kids?
Find a new boyfriend that likes your kids.
Is there a single word for "you and your partner"?
Us or we.
Would you date a woman who wears revealing clothes?
That’s a silly question. She can wear anything she wants.
“You must wear clothes which suits your own soul, not your own society! What you wish to do is much more important than what your society wants you to do!”
-- Mehmet Murat ildan
Why do Holocaust deniers think Hitler would not order the Holocaust when he was routinely explicit in his threats?
They are ignorant.
If a guy takes at least an hour to respond to your messages, is that bad?
Or more. I am not online 24/7/365. I have a life away from the computer.
Is it okay to feel like your boyfriend isn’t the right one for you?
Then, why are you with them? Go and find the right one.
Do men prefer big breasts or nice bottoms?
It depends on the man. More than a mouthful is a waste. I like nice bottoms.
Can you file for a divorce by yourself without a lawyer?
A man representing himself has a fool for a client.
Where does your hope lie?
In the afterlife.
“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
-- Shel Silverstein
How can I deal with stupid and bigot people?
Bigots are not stupid, they are ignorant.
Is it appropriate to stop messaging a girl if she does not respond?
Unless you enjoy wasting your time, it is appropriate.
Why would I rather die than be around anyone on Earth?
You are a serious loner.
I am leaving a job that I love because I hate the people I work with. What should I say when they ask why I am leaving?
You just said it.
Why would I rather burn for eternity than be around anyone on Earth?
You’re an idiot.
What can we expect from someone who says they don't want anything from a relationship?
Expect nothing. But, you will be surprised at what they meant.
“If you expect nothing from somebody you are never disappointed.”
-- Sylvia Plath
In your perspective, what do you think the point of life is?
Learning. We learn, every day… until we cross over into the next great adventure.
Why do good people always pressure me to say “please” and “thank you”?
They want you to exhibit good manners, and stop picking your nose.
How can someone cope with being treated disrespectfully by a friend and being called names and insulted?
You call this person a “friend”? You need to find better friends.
How can you work on pride when others bad mouth you, even though you practice kindness and patience. How do you let it go?
What others think of you shows their immaturity. Smile, and shake your head. Let it go.
What are the they/them idiots up to this week?
Which ones? The Communists, Democrats, or the Republicans?
How has humanity not killed itself off by now?
Mutual nuclear destruction. No humans will survive. It has to do with a “fear” factor.
“Gambling rules doesn't work in nuclear war - everyone become looser.”
-- Amit Ray
Should I leave a job that's making me angry every day?
If you can’t fix it, leave it. Being angry all the time is contrary to happiness.
Why is my grandfather still alive?
Good genes?
What kind of people are stupid?
What we think is stupid is considered ignorance. No one is truly stupid.
What do you get out of being mean?
Nothing, which is why I’m nice. My ex-wife, on the other hand…
Is it hurtful when people say you're good enough without meaning it?
Lol… No. I ignore them. I know I’m probably good enough… because I try.
Who do you think you are a dimwit?
What? Oh, I see. You left out a comma, dimwit.
“Every single person is a fool, insane, a failure, or a bad person to at least ten people.”
-- Mokokoma Mokhonoana
Are Trump’s antics and insults an embarrassment to the Untied States?
("United" is spelled wrong.) Not any more than Biden’s incompetence.
Why do I see tough love or "being real" as hurtful and mean-spirited?
It depends on the person doing the action. It can be “hurtful” if it is in the “best interest” of the subject. Being “mean-spirited” is always contrary to doing any good.
What weaknesses have you turned into strengths in your life?
I was bashful with girls. I turned it into an “outgoing” personality. I never looked back.
Does it hurt boys while having sex for the first time?
No, it takes longer because you don’t know what you’re doing. The only “hurt” is to your pride when the girl has to instruct you. My first time was with an older girl. I smiled for a week.
What do I say when my boyfriend says he wants me?
Yes, or no. It isn’t rocket science. It is what you want, that is important.
How do you defend yourself when they insult you?
I don’t, because they are ignorant, and I don’t have the patience to teach them. I’m 70-years-old. I have learned to smile and let insults roll off my back, primarily because the people throwing them are clueless.
“You're so full of crap, you could pass for a toilet.”
-- Kami Garcia

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion in an arena of mutual respect concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
