Expect the Obvious

“I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
-- Ronald Reagan

We can only expect what is in front of our eyes.  We can wish for something else, but reality usually wins out.  This is as it is with the “pro-choice” group.  We expect them to be critical of violence, as “pro-life” has been critical of violence against abortion.  But, why would we expect this?

Why would “pro-life” advocate death?  It is counterintuitive.  Again, why would “pro-choice” advocate death?  Well, their supporting the mass murder of unborn children should give us a clue.  If you’re willing to kill children in the womb it isn’t even a small step into murdering adults, is it?

It is obvious by my writings that I’m a “pro-life” advocate, but even I have my dark side.  There is a “payback clause” where my view of abortion is concerned.  It is my fervent hope that Adolf Hitler must endure abortion, at the very moment of his rebirth, for every life he was responsible for extinguishing during his reign of terror.  I want him to feel hope and have that hope extinguished, ripped away, 12,000,000 plus times, for every life he butchered.  And, yes, there is a special place in hell for people that think like me.  It is what it is, and I accept it. When it comes to genocide, I have no forgiveness in my heart.

Abortion has its place, unfortunately. Rape, incest, and the safety of the mother are very few rare instances, but even rape and incest have the “morning-after pill” to prevent a fetus from forming long enough to be defined as life.  If we are going to give away free condoms, I think we should fund free “morning-after pills” to be available at pharmacies.  It simply makes sense, to everyone but the purveyors of abortion, that is.

Everyone should expect the obvious.

If Roe v. Wade is overturned, the murder of babies will go back underground where coat hangers were the surgical implement of choice, and “mothers” will have to go back to weighing their safety against responsibility for spreading their legs at every turn.  Or, they can take the damned pills, “birth control” and “morning after,” for the very reasons they were developed.

We give mothers the right to murder their own children, simply because they choose to. We, as a society, gift them this choice because their own mothers chose not to abort their own daughters, who would grow up to support the murder of our future.

Abortion clinics have their place.  They abort the unwanted “tissue” before the time limits set by the laws of the state they operate in.  If the time limit lapses, then it’s too late and the mother can put the child up for adoption. Personally, expect nothing but the obvious from society.  Babies will continue to be murdered by women who weren't murdered by their own mothers, and that is a very sad reality, indeed.

“If the Constitution doesn’t say anything about a woman’s right to abortion, I’m damn sure it doesn’t say anything about the rights of the unborn.”
-- Israel Morrow

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch, it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either opinion any more right or wrong than the other. An opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form opinions of their own, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

It is my fervent hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions put forth. After over twenty years with military intelligence, I have come to believe engaging each other in this manner and in this arena is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience, and what we do afterward.
