Questioning Karma, Relationships, Ambitions, Attractive, Advice, and Flaws

“Karma comes after everyone eventually. You can't get away with screwing people over your whole life, I don't care who you are. What goes around comes around. That's how it works. Sooner or later the universe will serve you the revenge that you deserve.”
-- Jessica Brody

Why do some people don't mind being a bad person?
They have no clue about “karma” being a bitch.
How do you know if you are in the slut phase?
I’ve been in the “slut phase” since high school, about 50 years ago. It is an insatiable yearning. I feel so dirty.
Does ideology affect rationality?
Of course. Look at the Democrats. (I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. Bad Tony!)
What do wives like about being shared?
Variety.
Why do some people believe that becoming rich is necessary for happiness, despite not being able to manage their current life circumstances?
They have no clue that striving for true happiness always and in all things, regardless of your circumstances, is the path to real happiness. Monetary riches are a poor substitute for true happiness.
If you could remove the concept of money from society, what would you replace it with?
Whatever you replace it with, it will still be “currency” to buy things with.
“It cost so much, caring. I didn't have any currency to spend on it.”
-- Taylor Jenkins Reid
Is it necessary to have a romantic relationship with someone? Is it okay to not want to be in any kind of relationship?
Yes. Knock yourself out.
How do you always know what will happen next?
No one “always” knows what will happen. The mistake is the mystery of life.
When someone says to me, "you’re so quiet," how would I respond to that?
“If I had something to say, you’d want to shut me up.”
Why am I not patriotic?
Are you a liberal? A Democrat? This would explain it. Open borders and all.
I'm 22 and I got kicked out of the house. What should I do?
Get a job and find a place to live.
Have you ever seen your wife in a group sex?
No. But I’m pretty sure she experienced it. I divorced her.
“In my experience, one of the less well-advertised secrets of group sex was how often it came down to logistics.”
-- Alexis Hall
What defines you, and what are your ambitions?
I follow a code of moral conduct that I developed. You can follow a “code” that someone else has developed, but it isn’t yours. My ambition is to follow the code. Easier said than done, but I am trying.
When thoughts fail, what’s next?
Action. When action fails, you are in the wrong neighborhood.
How did you got your aspirations?
I joined Air Force Intelligence. Intelligence is all about doing the job or people die. The difference form any other military unit? No one knows about it. That does not sit well with most of us, so we make sure that we succeed. My “aspirations” are to succeed in what I do. My choices have been pretty lucky.
What are the ethical implications of building artificial intelligence?
Losing control of what you’ve built.
How do top students motivate themselves to study when faced with laziness?
“Top students” aren’t not usually faced with laziness. They work their scherdule to accomodate things like laziness.”
My luck is not favouring me. I am an Aquarian. What do I do?
Your “luck” are the choices and decisions you make, that affect your life. If “luck” is not favoring you, make better choices and decisions. You are in charge of your life, and being an “Aquarian” is an excuse when you need one.
“Shallow men believe in luck or in circumstance. Strong men believe in cause and effect.”
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson
How can you look attractive if you aren't?
Attractive is not all about looks. How shallow is that? How you carry youself, dress, and act, can make you look as attractive the best looking person in the place. I speak from experience.
My husband got another woman pregnant and is asking me to accept her as his other wife. What should I do?
Divorce is an acceptable option.
Why do I feel uncomfortable when ugly women get slutty with me?
Ugly women can spank you until you say you love them. At this point, they will turn you world upside down and make you beg. Ugly women are some of the best. Just saying.
What is the best way to create a list of all the thoughts in your mind?
Lol… This is not happening. The thoughts in my mind are voluminous.
Would a guy say no to sex if the girl looks attractive?
He is so gay. Or, he knows her health record. He could get what is buddy got from her. His buddy is fighting an STD from hell. An attractive woman doesn't mean she's clean from disease. The same goes for men.
Do you agree that "hard work is for workers"?
Yeah. Take that into the executive world and tell me how far you get with it. Until you own the company… and, even then…
“You need to solve a problem. The harder the problem you solve, the more value you'll provide. The more value you provide, the more money you will make. The more money you'll make, the harder problems you can solve.”
-- Johannes Larsson
If you had the chance to meet your future self, what advice would you ask for?
I’m 70 years old. What the hell advice would I want from an older me? I’d more apt to take him for a bourbon and a cigar.
Is it necessary for one's happiness to consider the thoughts and values of others, at least to some extent?
Nope. Strive for true happiness, always and in all things, regardless of your circumstances. It is a choice you make for your life, and it relies an no one to any extent, unless you choose it. Your happiness can be very selfish. But, for most of us, it is a “selfless” happiness that make us who we are.
What does it take to get you to smile?
Not much.
What are some things you love about your neighborhood and why do they make you happy to live there?
I’m a block from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Sea food, cigars, beautiful people, bourbon, but being a block from the beach has it, hands down.
Is it possible that in a 1000 or something years from now that human beings stopped making mistakes?
Nope. Sorry, it has to do with balance.
What little things in life make you HAPPIEST?
Being a grandfather, kids make me the happiest. They are so innocent, they make me laugh. They piss their parents off, but they make me laugh.
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
-- Margaret Mead
If you could permanently eliminate one human flaw (e.g., greed, jealousy), which would you choose and why?
Selfishness. Because “selflessness” is so much better for everybody.
What if you could experience one year of life in a different time period? Which period would you choose and why?
I thought about this, and I’ve had a pretty good life. I’d like to live it all over again and make better choices… like who I married.
Why would someone write that to me?
It doesn’t make much sense to write “that” to you. Is “that” all they wrote?
Do you believe that most people are trying their best, even if the outcome is not successful?
Hmmm. My first sex act in the camper on my dad’s truck, comes to mind. The outcome was so successful.
What if you could swap lives with someone for a day? Who would it be and what would you do?
I have enough issues with my own days. I sure as hell don’t want someone else’s.
In what situations is it acceptable to lie? Are there any circumstances where telling the truth is more important than sparing someone's feelings?
I have no filter, so telling the truth is more important than anybody’s feelings.
“If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.”
-- Mark Twain
Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion in an arena of mutual respect concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
