My comment: To be, a little, more precise, 13.7 billion years in the future (give or take). God has His hands full creating everything to take time out to think about the creation of a savior, down the road, for a people he hadn't thought about. When He did, everything was going wrong. Jesus stepped in and advised God to give the people unto him, and he would straighten it all out and bring the people around and turn their souls to the light. The rest is in scripture.

You need to prove to the “powers that be,” that your “passion and vision” is worth their sponsorship. If your education proves your passion and vision are marketable, you have a good case to be heard. If all you have is passion and vision, well… that’s all you have.

People make up stories trying to excuse the choices and decisions they have made. God's anger is one of them, although false. Mankind is on its own.

What was the most unnecessary thing you did?

When I was in the Air Force I was given a couple of "sub-par" airmen who were going to be thrown out. I explained the Air Force plan to them, and then I began retraining them in all things “Intelligence” that they needed to know. I could have let them be thrown out. It was no problem for me, except, I put myself in their shoes. A “general discharge” would follow them through life. I also explained this to them. I retrained them. Neither of them were discharged. I got a call from one of them, years later. I was retired, at that point, but he tracked me down and thanked me for my assistance and honesty.

How can atheists stop thinking about God?

They shouldn’t be thinking about God. They are atheists. If they are thinking about God, they are considered agnostic. They are “questioning” the existence of God, but have not made a conclusion yet.

Do atheists have a faith or belief system similar to religious people?

Their “faith” is in the belief that God does not exist. To make any more of it would be creating a religion, with rules that they "worship"... which they don’t condone.

Not a bit. Karma takes care of most of the assholes in the world.

No, people are really this ignorant. Ignorance is one reason why people use this site. They are here trying to find answers. Answers might help them find the right path. But if you see nothing but “rubbish” why are you here?

It is normal but wrong. Life is a classroom, and we constantly learn through life. You might feel that you’re stupid when you are learning things that you didn’t know. I call this “ignorance” and not stupidity. The more you learn the less you are ignorant. When you die and are reborn, you will begin learning more than you learned in the last life. The same goes for every life that follows.

No, we need not agree.

Why does a liar think that no one can see right through them?

They think their lie is foolproof. Most of the population in the United States are fools, so the lie stands unchallenged. The problem the liar has is the minority of people who see something wrong with what they said. It sounds right, but something keeps scratching at the minority’s grey matter. Given time, the truth will come out, and the bullshit will be clear.

People lie for many reasons. None of them can be justified.

Strive for true happiness always and in all things, regardless of your circumstances. Being truly happy is success in life. Everything else is simply attaining a goal.

Do bad things happen because there are atheists?

Bad things happen because good things happen. “Balance” is what the universe demands.

The same way everybody else does, only they don’t have a God to lean on for moral support. Their “coping” is all on themselves, and their support group if they have one.

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion.
