Suffer the Children? (Updated and reposted from 10/11/15)

"Now they were to be human guinea-pigs in a series of medical experiments conducted by the SS doctor Kurt Heissmeyer. Dr. Heissmeyer removed the children's lymph glands for analysis, and he injected living tuberculosis bacteria in their veins and directly into their lungs to determine if they had any natural immunities to tuberculosis. They were carefully observed, examined and photographed as the disease progressed. The condition of all the children deteriorated very rapidly and they became extremely ill."

Note to my readers:  The Holocaust was a terrifying period for humans, especially for those who didn't measure up to the "expectations" of the Third Reich.  20,946,000 people died to satisfy the Nazi genocidal appetite.  Add to this the cost in military lives to stop their conquest of the world, is it any wonder the following post is graphic in its presentation, as it must be, lest we forget.  My apologies to those who harbor delicate sensibilities, but we must always confront the truth, even when it is horrific.

Is it just me, or is everyone missing the point of harvesting fetal body parts for "scientific" research?  It seems everyone gets so wrapped up in the morality of "harvesting for sale" that the issue of murdering said babies in the guise of "abortion" is pushed off to the side and forgotten under the voluminous pile of horseshit being shoveled by both sides of the issue.  Maybe if we put our eyes back on the ball of murdering a viable fetus, a living being, the morality of everything else will simply fall back into the category of murder, where it belongs.  But I digress.  This is about another group of children...

We always seem to turn a blind eye to immoral research, as long as it isn't us doing the research.  That's kind of like lying by omission; a lie is still a lie, and we all know it.  "Moral" countries give a free pass to Nazi and Japanese researchers of WWII as long as they shared said research and came to work for the "moral" countries which won the war against their barbarism.  What? (Read this interesting article at Bayer Sorry for Nazi Role).

Okay, now that I have the children of the Holocaust mentioned...

If a heart is beating, we cannot say a baby isn't alive simply because it is still in the womb.  We spew so much bullshit that we actually begin to believe we're above it all.  Doctors take an oath and then willingly, hypocritically, ignore their prime directive of doing no harm by coming up with some plausible excuse to make themselves feel less like Japan's Unit 731 or the Nazi researchers they seemingly strive to emulate while, truly, surpassing their cruelty.

We simply call murder "planned parenthood" and all is forgiven.  Such is the human condition.  It makes one embarrassed to call it our "humanity."
"But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
-- Matthew 19:14
When Jesus said, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven," are we really so stupid to believe it was the intent that we speed the process along by murdering them in their womb?  Realistically, I can see a point to abortion for medical causes; like when the pregnancy endangers the mother's life.  I can even excuse it, though not agreeing with it, in the case of rape.  Isn't rape, and "oops," what the "morning after pill" is for, and shouldn't it be done the morning after, not down the road when you decide you've been an idiot and want to compound your stupidity with murdering your fetus?
“I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
-- Ronald Reagan
I have always made a very verbal point of letting everyone know that, being a man, I have no point of reference when it comes to a woman's body and what she does with it.  I have always felt abortion should be left in the hands of a woman, and the Supreme Court.  Well, that ship sailed when the Supreme Court became populated by educated morons more concerned with political agenda than the good of the people and the Constitution.  The ship pulled out right in front of the flood of women, on the H.M.S. Titanic II, that feel it is appropriate to be sexually promiscuous and then commit murder as an out.  Both of these ships need to repeat history and hit icebergs.  But, wait!  The Supreme Court recently made the oh-so-obvious decision to place abortion law in the hands of the states, which turned the murderers of babies against the Supreme Court Justices.  How far a stretch is it from killing babies to killing adults, I wonder?
“The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government.”
-- Thomas Jefferson
We, as a civilized society, have a court system that finally admitted to a judicial mistake.  Now, the states have the responsibility of defining life as something other than life, if they choose to do so.  Recent rulings have evidenced that our Supreme Court has regained an ability to make decisions that make more moral sense and protect the rights of the citizens of this country who cannot protect themselves.  When the supreme court of any country becomes as morally corrupt, or more, as the country they represent, would it be any wonder the people of that country follow suit?  I think if there was ever an argument for religion, faith, and good ethics, as opposed to none at all, this argument of pro-life would have some serious merit.
"Week 4–5: Chemicals produced by the embryo stop the mother's menstrual cycle. Neurogenesis is underway, showing brain activity at about the 6th week. The heart will begin to beat around the same time. Limb buds appear where arms and legs will grow later. Organogenesis begins. The head represents about one half of the embryo's axial length, and more than half of the embryo's mass. The brain develops into five areas. Tissue formation occurs that develops into the vertebra and some other bones. The heart starts to beat and blood starts to flow."
Of all the vulnerable populations in our world which morally demand our protection, I see unborn children as the most "at risk" from our own short-sightedness.  The youngest premature birth is reported as 21 weeks, 5 days - alive and well.  Abortion makes sense?  Brain activity and heartbeat of the embryo begin around the 6th week.  Abortion makes sense?  The barbarians aren't at the gate, the barbarians are us, and we seem to be okay with that.  To call our military personnel "baby killers" is truly the pot calling the kettle black.  We kill children during war because, well, shit happens.  It doesn't make it right.  Our "civilized" society kills babies because they can, and that seems to be okay, hypocritical to the extreme, but okay.
“I do not believe the promises of the Declaration of Independence are just for the strong, the independent, the healthy. They are for everyone-including unborn children.”
-- George W. Bush
Most of us say we are moral people due to our religious faith.  Some of us say that, even though they are without faith and religion, there can be a practiced morality.  People say quite a lot, without putting their money where their mouth is.

Somewhere in heaven, a baby is flipping us the bird.  Rightly so.

Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch, it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either opinion any more right or wrong than the other. An opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form opinions of their own, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

It is my fervent hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions put forth. After over twenty years with military intelligence, I have come to believe engaging each other in this manner and in this arena is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience, and what we do afterward.
