Questioning Logic, Genius, Simple, AI, and Truth

“I mean, you could claim that anything's real if the only basis for believing in it is that nobody's proved it doesn't exist!”
-- J.K. Rowling

What is the logic in which you make your decisions?
It is the logic I was born into. I struggled through a life that didn’t teach me what I wanted to learn. When I was drafted into the military, however, I excelled in the top 10% during testing and earned a position in Air Force Intelligence. Intelligence taught me so much more about logic, reality, and possibilities. I retired almost 23 years later. Decisions and choices are just the beginning of what might be.
What does it mean if someone thinks about everything?
Do they have “difficulty focusing”?
Can a stupid person be proud of being stupid?
Some people have no choice, and some people think the way they are normal. If you’re short of a six-pack but are truly happy in life, you may not notice the other 5 cans are missing.
Last year, I stood in 1st place in every exam. Sometimes, now, I can't get into the top ten. I am so stressed. What should I do?
Life is full of ups and downs. If you study hard, you are doing more than most. Life is what it is. Do what you should do, and don’t stress over it. Classes can get harder the deeper you get into them. You try and, sometimes, you fail. You have to critique why you failed, so you can understand. This is life.
Can it be true that one should stay low-key and not everyone needs to know everything about you?
As a retired intelligence analyst, I have learned not to let everyone know everything. I have pockets of secrets I keep to myself.
Author's comment: I like this, thank you!
How can I convince or explain something to someone very effectively?
Dropping your explanation down to their level of education helps. You learn in public speaking to consider your audience. If you want to keep them enthralled, keep your lecture at their level of understanding. Short, concise, and understandable, will help a lot. Ask for feedback and don’t laud your knowledge over them. They are trying to learn.
“People struggling with life in a fallen world often want explanations when what they really need is imagination.”
-- Paul David Tripp
Who is a genius person that is not ethical?
Joe Biden isn’t a genius, so he’s out.
Why am I so dumb? I revise every day since I do triple science and yet still in assessments, I get one of the lowest (grade 6 and 7’s). Everyone laughs at me. What else can I do to become smarter?
Are they doing “triple science” as well? If not, perhaps you might consider cutting back a bit on your workload. It might not be that you aren’t smart, you just carry too much baggage. Oh, and if everyone can’t pitch in to help, they can go screw themselves. What they think is so not important to you getting better scores.
Why are some people too helpful towards me?
They would seem to think you need more help than others. Perhaps you should ask them, so you can understand.
I’ve noticed the more rich Conor McGregor gets, the more humble, respectful, and mannered he becomes. Why is that?
He is becoming smart more than he is intelligent. Smart people realize their abilities run cold as they age. It is always good to recognize this and plan for the future, when being humble, respectful, and well-mannered, will garner you the same. You get what you give.
According to the proverb "Children and fools tell the truth" "Can we trust children and fools to always tell the truth?
Only if you’re a child or a fool.
Why does indigenous knowledge deserve our attention today?
Because we have been finding that the “indigenous people” tend to already know what we are just finding out. We need to ask indigenous people first before we go reinventing the wheel.
“When I stare too long at the world with science eyes, I see an afterimage of traditional knowledge. Might science and traditional knowledge be purple and yellow to one another, might they be goldenrod and asters? We see the world more fully when we use both.”
-- Robin Wall Kimmerer
How do you say "what we believe in" simply?
“We believe…” The other words are superfluous. Hey, four syllables. Not bad.
Is it a possibility that social media platforms are a massive large-scale (psychology) Aschs Experiment?
Could be. Anything is possible with social media. Uh… what’s an Aschs Experiment?
What makes you think that stupidity attracts an amount of dark attention in your own opinion?
Offhand, I can see where stupid people might buy into any “dark attention” being shown to them, more than smart people would. Intelligent people are also in danger.
Most people don’t know who they are. Who are you?
I am me. And being me is more of a treat than being someone else. Just saying.
What does it mean to be a "special kind of stupid"?
There is no “special kind” of stupid. Stupid is as stupid does, and it really doesn’t matter what “special kind” of stupid you think they are. Take the League of the Perpetually Offended, for example. They have all kinds of people populating the League. Some people might say they’re a “special kind” of stupid, whereas, I would tend to bunch them all into one, single, “stupid” category. There is nothing "special" about them.
What is the difference between the belief that the universe was created by an intelligent designer and the belief that it has always existed as a brute fact?
It didn’t “always” exist. The universe came into being due to the “Big Bang.”
"If God spoke the world into being, the divine language is energy; the alphabet, elementary particles; God's grammar, the laws of nature."
-- Daniel Matt
Is it possible for humans to be in love with AI humans?
Stephen Stills almost got it right: Well, there's a rose in a fisted glove, and the eagle flies with the dove, and if you can't find a human to love, honey, love the AI you're with.
Why is it difficult to convince someone they're responsible for their own actions?

Denial. Everything revolves around choices and decisions we choose to make. It is their life, not someone else’s, so they are responsible… or, they are submissive and are still “responsible” for being submissive. They have a hard time accepting that anything they do, they have chosen to do.
What does it mean when a person says "I'm just not ready"?
They don’t feel that they are ready. Is this another trick question?

How can I use my communication skills to handle a problem in teamwork?
The problems that arise in “teamwork” usually occur because of poor communication. Good communication skills, and listening to feedback, can solve many ills that might crop up.
How far can one go in trusting God without getting carried away?
Trusting “God” is a choice. You can get carried away, or not. Forcing your belief on others, however, is selfish and not proper. If they wish to believe, they can. It is their choice, not someone else’s. Life is all about the choices and decisions we make. We make our own fate.
Why would God create people knowing they will sin against Him and His laws (the Bible)?
People are created with free will. Their fate is in their hands. There must be balance in the universe, good and bad is part of that balance.
“God isn't about making good things happen to you, or bad things happen to you. He's all about you making choices--exercising the gift of free will. God wants you to have good things and a good life, but He won't gift-wrap them for you. You have to choose the actions that lead you to that life.”
-- Jim Butcher
What’s the best way to win an argument?
Don’t argue. Speak the truth. And be knowledgeable of the facts. It isn’t about winning or losing. It is about stating the truth or meeting the "other side" halfway. Once you have done that, it is time to walk away.
What does it mean if someone says, "It's not me, it's you."?
It means that one of the two is full of shit.
Why do people who are in relationships say they're not looking for anything serious if they're happy where they are now?
Because the relationship they are in now is not serious, and they are happy with this for now. The question answers itself.
How can people just know how to harmonize naturally?
They have a natural talent where harmonizing is concerned.
Did you know I hate talking with humans?
Then stop. Your emotions are probably felt by them. If you hate talking to them, imagine how much they must hate talking to you, knowing that you hate talking to humans. The best solution for both sides is if you simply stop. Everybody will be happy at that point.
What are some things teachers would never do with their own kids?
Forcefully indoctrinate them into socialism.

“History has been stolen from us and replaced with guilt-inducing lies.”

Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions, and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
