Questioning Ignorance, Responses, Insults, Again, and Craps

"If you see a bomb technician running, follow him."
-- Unknown US Navy Corpsman

Is there anything more dangerous than ignorance?
That depends. Are they trying to defuse a bomb?
Are you negative or positive?
I’m almost always positive. I strive to be truly happy always and in all things, regardless of my circumstances. Occasionally, someone who finds success in life pisses people off. I guess it sucks being pissed off.
What is the definition of success?

I'll say it again. Success in life is finding true happiness always and in all things, regardless of your circumstances. It is a choice.

How do I ask my wife to fart in my mouth?
You know, there are some questions you just need to leave alone. This, to my mind, is one of them.
What is the definition of "good but not perfect"?
Excellent. There is no such thing as perfect, but there are many levels of excellence.
What is a word or term for someone who expects to be perfect?
They have nothing left to take away. Be satisfied with excellence.

“Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.”
-- Salvador Dali

What is a response to the phrase 'You can't trick me'?

“I already did. Now, you have to figure out when.”
Do you sometimes behave in a way that makes people think you are silly?

When I was in the Intelligence field, I did, occasionally. I retired from that in 1994, and I haven’t needed to behave that way since... that I know of. I may slip now and then, but I don’t notice it. Besides, what people think of me is so irrelevant. I am what and who I am, regardless. I always strive to be truly happy, and that is more important than other people’s opinions of me.
Author's comment: Thank you for your answer, my friend.

What does it mean when someone says they are not looking for anything serious but then expects you to be exclusive?
It means you need to find someone who says what they mean.
What does it mean to you to focus only on what you have control over?
It means focusing on what you can control and not wasting time on things you don’t have any control over. You need to focus on what you can change and ignore those things beyond your ability. In this way, you can get more done.
Can something be both questioned and denied?
Ask an atheist.
Am I a fool for letting myself be used? Am I a bigger fool for liking it?
Yes. You should never let yourself be used unless you are a “submissive” and like to be used. If being submissive turns you on, whether you are a fool, or not, is a question only you can answer. Spankings will commence…
Voting is submissive too – you delegate your authority to one of the puppets of the controllers. Dominants are active, not passive. They DO. They ACT. They MOVE. They CHOOSE. They DECIDE. They are NOT CONTROLLED by the system. They are FREE. So, what are you?”
-- Adam Weishaupt
What are the most insulting words for women?

Slut, whore, and some other colorful words I can’t use here, because they are really too insulting, come to mind. Of course, nowadays, these same words can be used for certain segments of the male population.
Why are some people wildly successful?
They love life and strive to be truly happy always and in all things, especially when attaining goals.
Why can I say all the things for and of what it is?
I have this problem. I was told by a good friend that I have no filter. I am honest to a fault, and the fault is usually mine for being so honest and not holding back my opinions.
Why is everyone so nice and kind to me and why did I not think of that question first and why do I learn from others most of the time and not naturally on my own and why do I always need to be corrected and told things constantly all the time?
Because you haven’t grasped the need for punctuation.
In positive psychology, can you explain how you have experienced Flow?

When I was in Air Force Intelligence, we had deadlines to meet and quality control to consider. We would become immersed in the task at hand at the exclusion of anything else. Many times, we would work late just because we didn’t pay attention to time. We always excelled in our inspections, but it was because we excelled at our job. The “Excellent” rating was a sidenote to the timely completion of our mission objectives.
What is a thing that stops people from daring to desire?
Well, the same sex doesn’t do anything for me.
“There are two tragedies in life. One is to lose your heart's desire. The other is to gain it.”
-- George Bernard Shaw
How do I make my husband attracted to me again?
Fall out of love once, fall out of love again. Don’t be a glutton for punishment. Maybe it’s time to move on. Or, you can ask him what it would take. Your choice.
What are you starting to like less and less the older you get?
The people who complain and bitch constantly, especially the members of the League of the Perpetually Offended. I have no use for people who can’t manage to strive for true happiness always and in all things, regardless of their circumstances. It seems their entire goal is to drag you into their personal pit of misery. I have much better things to do in life.
If you copied a version of yourself of a different gender, what relationship would you have with that version of yourself?
I wouldn’t trust her any more than she would trust me. Totally understandable.
What made you realize that being creative was fun instead of stressful?
Being creative was always fun. Trying to bring someone else’s creativity to fruition was always a bit stressful. When the Air Force said, “Be creative,” my team’s “creativity” helped save the B-52 from being mothballed. This was back in the late 1980s. The B-52 is still logging hours. The airframe is expected to serve into the 2050s.
What does it mean if someone loves you but doesn't accept you for who you are?
They don’t really love me. They may love aspects of me, but not me for who I am.
Which job is more important, one that is respected by society or one that is loved by the individual?
The one loved by the individual. Who gives a rat’s ass what society thinks? I do what I love to do and society can simply deal with it. My ego needs no stroking.
“If you love your work, if you enjoy it, you're already a success.”
-- Jack Canfield
Is it impractical to use dice to make all of your decisions?
When you consider casinos make money off of gamblers, this makes little sense. If rolling dice were a winning proposition all the time, it would be another story, but it isn’t. So, yes, it is impractical.
Can it be true that only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go?
This makes too much sense. Without risk, there can be no progress.
What is the reason an enlightened person would keep silent about his or her enlightenment unless there was a desire to explain it out loud?
An “enlightened” person understands the need for being humble. Being humble means not touting the fact that you are enlightened. The instant you desire to explain it out loud, enlightened people will know you’re full of shit. Humility waits for someone to ask, and then the explanation is for them alone, not everyone in your world.
Isn't the socially conditioned mind and thinking frighteningly ignorant, stupid, and incapable of seeing what is as it is?
What?
Why do people re-explain things to me as if I'm unfamiliar with the concept right after I just explained it to them?
They are human. The best tactic is to say, “Yes, as I just explained it to you. Nothing wrong with your retention. Bravo!”
Which way to go?
Forward!
“Sometimes life knocks you on your ass... get up, get up, get up!!! Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them.”

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions, and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
