Murder of Innocence

“I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
-- Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan spoke the truth when he stated, "I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born." So, then, what's the point?  If you are out of danger, it makes sense that you can murder indiscriminately, right?  No?

We have birth control pills, condoms, and the "morning after pill" to prevent the "mistake" from attaining the definition of life.  So, why are people too stupid to understand their responsibility?  If you ignore your responsibility for the "love-child" you've spread your legs for, how much easier will it be the next time and the times after that.  How much easier will it be to go from murdering an unborn child to murdering someone already born?  I mean, murder is murder.

Now, I understand the priorities we put on the mother's health.  I understand abortions due to rape and incest.  I put these to the side as understandable.  The law needs to do its job.  And women need to come forward as soon as possible.

I'm addressing the "serial killer" who goes in for an abortion, time after time.  And those "pro-choice" advocates who see nothing wrong with murdering innocence every time they spread their thighs.  By their argument, it is the mother's body, and they have the right to excise the life form they equate to a tumor.  It isn't a "God give right," but I wait for one of them to say they're Christian.  Calling these women  "mothers" brings up a load of bile.  If we vote that women can't have abortions without cause, they will have to exercise responsibility for the child. Let's not get into the "welfare" argument, God forbid.  Oh... I'm sorry.  I brought God into the discussion... again.  But, for most deists, this is exactly where the creator needs to be - facing down the destroyers.

I try to exercise respect for respect.  But, when I find out someone is pro-abortion, I try not to turn my back on them.  I can take someone out with a plastic knife, and I'm sure they can try to do the same... while my back is turned. God bless fast-food franchises for supplying us with an unending supply of interrogation utensils. God bless military Intelligence for teaching me to imagine the myriad of unorthodox ways to use plastic utensils.

The abortion argument will go on for more years than it already has. Soon, the murderers, the pro-choice advocates, will outnumber the pro-life advocates. There will be death and destruction on an epic scale not seen since the Third Reich... unless people keep their pie-holes shut.  But that ain't gonna happen.

Note:  As usual, this is simply my opinion.  Targeted, yes, but it is an opinion nonetheless.  I can't trust most people to read everything, so before you get your panties in a bunch, please read the "Editor's Note" at the bottom of this page.)

“I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is 'Abortion' because it is a war against the child... A direct killing of the innocent child, 'Murder' by the mother herself... And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love... And we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts...”

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions, and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
