Questioning Trolls, Sex, Life, Intentions, Motivation, and Stupid

“He who searches for evil, must first look at his own reflection.”
-- Confucious

Should I start asking troll questions again? I stopped, and people are still taking one look at my questions and calling me a troll. What's the point of asking "real" questions if I'm just going to get called a troll anyway?
You started this. When you do things wrong, you suffer consequences. Welcome to reality. How about not thinking of being a "troll" ever again? This seems to work for normal people.
What if robots fight back against human orders?
"Fighting" suggests someone didn’t follow Asimov’s “Laws of Robotics.”
Is it normal to have a fear that WWIII is starting?
And a meteor is going to end all life on earth… when? We tend not to think of the end of life on this planet. There is so much more "real" drama we have to deal with, that “possibles” can’t compete. Better we try to focus on reality.
Can it be true that our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt?
It can be.
Do robots want to be human?
Robots are programmed to do what we want them to do. Artificial Intelligence, on the other hand, combined with robotics, can open a whole new can of worms if stupidity is part of programming.
How do I meet someone I will love?
Go up to them and say, “Hi.” Do this enough, and someone will ask you to have a drink.
“You are a wanderer. You have spent days and nights in loneliness. And somehow you have got addicted to your loneliness. And one day you meet someone and you feel as if you have known them all your life. It's like you both are just continuing from where you had left a long time ago. And the silences between you, too have meaning!”
-- Avijeet Das
What do you do if your husband never wants sex?
Find another husband. Your needs also have to be filled, so to speak.
What would be your advice for growing a huge pair of balls (aka, courage)?
Sometimes we just have to jump. Don’t think, too much, about getting your ass handed to you. Think more about doing what is right and ethical.

When I write stories with AI, I have noticed they tend to be overly optimistic and end on positive notes, despite the real world not being so nice. Why?

Because you haven’t “written” them, AI did.

What are some strategies to master your mindset and thrive in 2024?
I am retired, ecstatically happy in life, and have mastered my mindset. I will thrive in 2024… if my banker allows it. I have been the master of my mindset since my divorce, in 2000. Something about having the weight, of an unloving spouse, lifted off your shoulders after 25 years, frees your mind to consider much happier things, like better relationships.
Why do transgenders outrage when they are misgendered? Do they expect people to know their pronouns, or do they expect people to cater to their mental illness?
When you start your journey with a “chip” on your shoulder, the ride will be anything but cordial. Miscatogorizing them as "mentally ill" doesn't help the situation.
How can you determine if someone is intimidated by you? Is it possible to know if they are scared or nervous around you without them explicitly stating it?
If you are attuned to emotional nuances, they don’t have to state anything.

“If you want to control someone, all you have to do is to make them feel afraid.”
-- Paulo Coelho
What 7 rules of life should one adapt to achieve everything in their life?
True happiness, knowledge, a goal, creativity, focus, hard work, and perseverance in the face of failure.
Does the happiness of your life depend upon the quality of your thoughts?
Of course. If your thoughts are dark and ugly, how truly happy can your life be?
Do you think success is entirely based on effort and skills?
No. You need to know what your effort and skills are going to create that is needed. That creation is what will help you attain your goal.
What can be considered as a talent?
Almost anything. If you do it well, you have a “talent” for it.
How do you know who you are, know what you deserve, and don't settle for less?
Well, at 70 years of age, the fact that I’m truly happy and having retired twice, I know who I am, I’ve been rewarded with what I deserve and I’ve never settled for less. Ta-da!
How do successful individuals find equal partners despite societal pressure?

First of all, ignore “societal pressure” and focus on your desires. “Equal partners” will be found where you least think they will be found. A person’s “peripheral vision” can work wonders in finding people lost at sea. Don’t try so hard. The needle in the haystack will be found when you sit on it, so let it happen in its own good time.
“God will bring the right person into your life at the right time. Always believe that! If they are not there, God isn't finished yet!”
-- Shannon L. Alder
Why is it important to conceal your intentions?
Because, if the enemy knows what you’re going to do, you won’t leave the field of battle without carrying the massive dead and dying your lack of concealment caused.
Reader comment: Ladies are not the enemy, so it’s important that my intentions be revealed

My reply: True, but, that’s not, necessarily, good tactical thinking.
Reader reply: Tactical to let a lady know I can be had.

My response: Try a white flag.

Reader reply:  Excellent recommendation. Universal meaning, everybody should know.

How can I become more comfortable in my abilities and development areas?
Become more knowledgeable.
Are women really the weaker sex?
They are, for the most part, the physically weaker gender. But, if women decide to withhold sex, men tend to lose their little minds. If you aren’t in control of your emotions, who is truly the weaker sex?
How can one maintain a healthy balance between independence and family support?
Don’t ask for “family support” unless you really need it.
What is the easiest way to sell my body for sex?
Sit next to a sign that says, “Oral - $50, Missionary - $150, Around the World - $200”. Of course, the police will also be watching you, so be very careful.
How lucky I am to have a family like you. Thank you for supporting me through trying times, always believing in me, and for giving me strength. What do I do for my family?
Sounds like sucking up, to me.
“Deference is not a foregone conclusion, but a forelock-tugging one.”
-- Stewart Stafford
Why is no one motivated anymore?
Wait… you mean, we’re supposed to be? Well, I’d blame the socialists. They expect nothing of us but to be indoctrinated. There are so many weak-minded people, in the world, that they just might accomplish making us all subservient, unmotivated, trailer trash.
Is intelligence necessary for the existence of a god?
No, but belief is pretty necessary.
Why am I stupid who doesn't understand selfish people?
You’re not necessarily stupid, as much as a target for selfishness. Equate “selfishness” with “greed” and see if that helps. It is hard to tell until you get to know them a bit. Selfishness, given a short time, can be pretty blatant.
How can one appear more intelligent and educated without seeming arrogant or conceited?
Keep your pie hole shut, and no one will be able to tell.
If you can’t fault my maths, will you personally attack me because you are afraid of the truth?
I’m not that great at math, but I’m pretty certain I can find more things to attack you for other than the truth, fear notwithstanding.
Is it common for people to underestimate or overestimate their abilities and intelligence? What factors contribute to this tendency?
Unfortunately, yes. A big factor is the “ego” or the lack thereof.
“Chaos is what we've lost touch with. This is why it is given a bad name. It is feared by the dominant archetype of our world, which is Ego, which clenches because its existence is defined in terms of control.”
-- Terence McKenna

Are there more smart people or more stupid people in this world?
Judging by political voting, I vote there are more stupid people.
How do I fight against people in armor?
Beat them into submission with a “Morning Star” style of mace. The double-edged sword is too cumbersome and hard to handle with any good effect. Of course, any good pistol with several clips of high-velocity ammo will be much more effective.
How stupid can stupid get?
Pretty fricken stupid.
Animals are born as animals but humans have to live among humans to become humans and this is why nobody was born an atheist. You have to be trained to be anything you are as a human being. Do you agree no one was born as an atheist or theist?
If I were a theist looking for a long, drawn-out question full of meaningless crap to attack an atheist with, I think I’ve found it. Wait! I am a theist... and my response still stands.
Reader's comment: It’s rather depressing how many people think stuff like this counts as a good question. Fewer atheists do it but I fear that may just be due to there being fewer atheists to draw from so fewer will fail that badly at thinking.
What is the most important thing that a person is to accomplish in their life?
Finding true happiness.
Should students choose the subjects to study themselves?
After reading, writing, arithmetic, and history, they can choose whatever they want. The problem is finding enough “quality” teachers to actually try and teach reading, writing, arithmetic, and history.
“The incapable educational system, my mother and I were embroiled in a vicious cycle of negativity. We all suffered greatly because we were all products of an inexperienced, underdeveloped,, and misunderstood thought process inherited from a completely corrupt and unjust educational system. I was unloved by my peers because I’d inherited an attitude of fear, pessimism, and negativity that could have simply been avoided if our system recognized that we are all products of our environment and have subsequently come from different places, perspectives, and circumstances.”
-- K.A. Hill

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion in an arena of mutual respect concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
