Why are all 3 of my children very stupid?

I would be a smart ass and say the apples fell really close to the tree, but, in reality, good parenting is a solid foundation for any of the children.

How can one handle an extremely selfish, manipulative, and self-centered father?

Grow up and leave. Living with this father can stifle a person wanting to be a good parent.

What gives the low IQ, uneducated blue-collar monkey, the will to live such a mediocre, slow, dumb, and unfulfilled life? Aren’t they ashamed of being looked down at, like what I am doing?

Not being an ass, the people who look down on them have no understanding of society. Blue-collar workers do a job that others have more skills and aren’t “qualified” for the work. I have great respect for those who serve me food in a restaurant. The bartenders, the servers, and the people who clean and take out the trash, all make our lives so much better. I thank them for their service and give them a well-deserved tip. Thanking these people for doing what they do is the least we can do.

Legendary Mark Twain/Bill Murray point out, that it's harder to debate an "idiot" than a smart person. Why is this the case and if so, how do you debate a fool?

If you’ve ever talked to an idiot, you will know why you don’t want to debate them. How do you debate a fool? Well, the point of all this is that you don’t. Debating a fool is a waste of time better used in some other creative endeavor.

What can you infer from Quora’s questions, answers, and posts?

If the post, the question, and the answer, are all delivered in a serious vein, or if there is a “troll” involved.

Why is it so much easier to judge others when you’re not doing well? How does the difference, between the ideal self and the actual self, affect relationships with others?

Judging others when you are not doing well, makes you look like an idiot, to those "others" who can hear. If you attain the “ideal self” you have become your new “actual self.” Funny how that works.

I was caught with a phone in my pocket during an examination and I’m accused of using it to cheat while I did not. How do I defend myself?

Are there rules for taking a test? Did you violate the rules? If so, there is no defense.

Is peace of mind possible to attain?

Of course. It is a choice that we all should make. Strive for true happiness always and in all things, regardless of your circumstances. If you can wrap your mind around it is what it is until it isn’t, you are halfway there. If you don’t like something, change it or ignore it, but don’t cry over it. Crying, bitching, complaining, and the like, never solves anything. If you can instigate change for change’s sake, then do it. Don’t cry about it. 

Why is stuttering a sign of emotional dysregulation based on low self-esteem nervousness, and lack of confidence?

I don’t know who told you all of this, but the Mayo Clinic puts a different spin on it.

Not a good idea, you have. At some time, he would beat you within an inch of your life. I would.

I've got breasts and brains. Why shouldn't I love myself?

My God, woman! Looking at your picture, I have no idea why you don’t love yourself. Right off the bat, I can see a few good points to which a loving person would pay attention. Maybe it has to do with more than your looks. Is your life in some turmoil?

You foolish heart. Beating so hard you almost escape the cages of my chest. Why him of all people? He did not even tick any boxes from my checklist! I guess that's why, I will never call you any other way.

At times, I see myself as a loser and uninteresting. I ruin my social interactions. Others don't see this, judging from my experience. They either think good of me or are neutral, but I think badly of myself. How do I stop judging myself?

How you see yourself, negatively, seems to contradict how others see you. Define for yourself, how you think badly of yourself. Other people don’t seem to see these negative attributes. Until you have evidence that other people find you a “loser” or “uninteresting,” you have no evidence to back up your negativity, so stop judging what others, including you, don’t see.

Isn’t it a fatal error to underestimate your enemies?

Indeed. 

Is genocide really as bad as people say it is?

When you look at the number of deaths, in the millions, it is “really as bad as people say it is.” Genocide, even in the single digits, is an atrocity. It is a decision, by some sick S.O.B., that a specific genetic group of people does not need to exist. The most famous systematic, state-sponsored genocide was the killing of the Jewish people by the Nazi regime in WW II. Only 6 million people died at their hands.

What would you say if your wife tells you that every night when she goes to bed, the man next door has sex with her?

If it was my girlfriend, one, she knows he’s an idiot. Two, I must be watching her and the idiot. Three, it doesn’t say if she is enjoying the idiot’s attention. Right now, without more information, I’m speechless. However, if it was with my ex-wife… it would not surprise me.

Have you ever known someone "highly intelligent," but did not succeed as an engineer or scientist?

Not because they failed. They simply saw no reason to succeed in those fields. They were more interested in the arts, acting, and the like. The actor, James Woods, has an IQ of 180. Matt Damon, 160. Dolph Lundgren, 160. So, not all intelligent people want to follow the sciences.

Is it considered normal to feel excitement for simple things?

Define “normal” for society.

Why are some people mean and disrespectful for no reason?

Bad parenting, the environment they grew up in, or the current environment. But, when you define their behavior for “no reason,” I would have to go with upbringing.

Can manipulators change their behavior?

If they want to.

No, I divorced that.

Can a person be considered too unintelligent for finance-related jobs such as investment banking?

Oh, hell yes. They can be considered too “unintelligent” for sweeping the street or dumping garbage, much less investment banking.

Nope. Whoever my ex was having sex with, it wasn’t me.

Can senior citizens legally quit their jobs in America?

Anybody can quit their job in America if they don’t have a contract. That’s where the “legally” comes in. If you have a contract you are obligated to see the contract completed, or you can be sued.

Marriage.

Do societal pressure and expectations cause people to fake their happiness around others?

For the weak-minded. I see no reason to let “societal pressure and expectations” cause me to fake anything. I have no filter, so, I will freely let you know exactly what is on my mind. You can bank on it.

Why do people in today's society like to divorce?

Bad choices. They rely on “love” (e.g., sex) and forget about being good friends.

I always learn more than I already know. A person can’t know everything, so there is much left that they can study. Learning is why we’re here, don’t you know? If we’re not learning, what’s the point?

Why do you feel bad after a one-night stand?

Too much liquor. 

What should more people force themselves to do?

Be at peace and strive for true happiness always, and in all things, regardless of their circumstances. It is a choice.

How many questions on here are dumb?

No question is “dumb” if you don’t ask it twice. I heard that somewhere and it seems to ring true. The answers might be a little iffy, but the questions require a cogent answer.

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion.
