“Mysteriously, God in his providence must make use of our tragedies to remind our fallen human nature of his presence and his love, of the constancy of his concern and care for us. It is not vindictiveness on his part; he does not send us tragedies to punish us for having so long forgotten him. The failing is on our part.”-- Walter J. Ciszek
I don't even know you, so "the entire world” didn’t fail you. The only person you can rely on is you, so shifting the blame on the “entire world” sounds like you failed you. How about taking responsibility for yourself and trying harder to make things work out? What are some things that all people do every day, everywhere?
Pee.What is the most difficult relationship to handle in a human life span, and why?
This is a toss-up for me. It is either work or marriage. Both require that you focus on the work at hand. You need to have a good relationship or you are just spinning your wheels. Everybody needs to get along with each other, knowing that the relationship is always solid. If it isn’t, you end up changing jobs, or marriages, numerous times.

This is interesting. Two questions, one after the other, from the same person. I have listed both questions, here, with my reply:
1. I'm 27 years old. I have no job and no money. I'm living with my mom. I'm completely lost and I'm losing interest in whatever I do. I have no idea how to overcome this situation. What should I do?
2. I'm 23 and have achieved nothing in life. Is there still a chance for my brain?
What you should do, is figure out your age. Are you 27 years of age, or are you 23?

When was the last time you felt a sense of freedom? My sense of freedom started in 1973. It took a vacation, for 25 years, while I was married. After the divorce, I reclaimed my freedom in 2000, and have been enjoying a newfound sense of freedom ever since. When in your life did the police act overly excited and lack self-control?
I’m Sicilian. They wouldn’t dare.
“Speak softly and carry a big stick — you will go far.”-- Theodore Roosevelt
How have you once tried to break free from society but it ended up backfiring on you?
Nope. I was born into a free society, and I will never try to break “free” from the freedom I have enjoyed for the past 70 years. To try to do so would be contrary to my freedom of choice.
After the Intelligence field, I try not to.
Do you live to work or do you work to live?
I have always worked to live, but, the fact that I have enjoyed all of my jobs, makes me think that I lived to work, as well.
How do I teach my students how to treat certain people as less human than others?
As a teacher, what the hell are you thinking?
Proverbs suggest the wicked will ultimately come to face with consequences. But, in life, we often see wicked people prospering. How do we reconcile this with the teachings of Proverbs?
Do the proverbs state whether the consequences will happen in this life or the next? If one believes in hell, the wicked can look forward to a stint with Satan. Other than that, are the “wicked people” truly happy or is the smile forced? “Consequences” can come in many forms. Don’t think that they are getting away with anything.Should you be alive right now?
That is factually obvious since I answered this question. I am very careful.
“If you're reading this...Congratulations, you're alive. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't know what is.”-- Chad Sugg
If you could give one or two pieces of advice to people in business (large or small) on changes they could make so they benefit from AI, rather than suffer from it, what would they be?
Don’t get in bed with AI. Hire more people. What if I told you that you are not really here?
You would provide evidence that you’re full of it. I know where I am, and I know reality has my back. That you decide to tell me otherwise, means nothing to me… or my reality. What's something you don't see every day?
A woman’s private parts. Why would a guy constantly call me “cute”?
I may be out in left field, but… maybe he constantly thinks you’re cute. I have no filter, so I would probably back him up with this. Are you “cute” constantly? If it bothers you, you might think about trying not to be so cute… all the time.
How can Help me sex?
Uh… What? Why do men always lie all the time?
Men don’t always lie all the time. If this is your experience, perhaps you should hang around with a better class of men. Try not to put everybody in the same bucket.
“Everyone is born. But not everyone is born the same. One way or another though, every human being is unique, for better or worse.”-- Roald Dahl
Who does she prefer to sleep with? This is the better question. How do I deal with a partner who sits around and orders me what to do?
Order them to do their own stuff. A “partnership” means both partners share responsibility. They don’t order each other around.
What is the most painful spanking that you have ever had?
I can’t remember her name. But, she leaned into it.Who said, “If there’s a god, why are things good?
It sounds like an atheist. Things are the way they are because God gave mankind everything they need to know and then cut them free. If things aren’t good, it is mankind’s fault, not God’s. We are supposed to learn, so we can make things better. God gave us this ability, but we haven’t used it, across the board. We've been doing pretty good, on and off.Who likes to see a girl's vulva when you change her diapers?
It depends on the age of the girl. If she’s over 18, the bigger question is why she’s wearing diapers. Kinky… very kinky. She probably needs a good spanking. What do you do? My wife loves flashing in public. I'm not on board.
What does your wife, loving to flash in public, have anything to do with what I do?
"I marvel again at the nakedness of men's lives: the showers right out in the open, the body exposed for inspection and comparison, the public display of privates. What is it for? What purposes of reassurance does it serve? The flashing of a badge, look, everyone, all is in order, I belong here. Why don't women have to prove to one another that they are women? Some form of unbuttoning, some split-crotch routine, just as casual. A doglike sniffing."-- Margaret Atwood
Can I stay with my wife if she has chosen to ignore me and tell me she doesn't want me?
It is time to leave before you find out who she’s seeing. Or, you can go find some “strange” at the local bar. Hey, this is her choice. You are just making the best of it. When you ignore her and start smelling like “Chanel No. 5,” she will get the message and you will be free.
Should I cheat on my wife again?
Why don’t you divorce her, instead of cheating on her? It makes you look bad.
How can I be seen as a responsible person?
Be responsible. You can be seen as a responsible person, or you can be a responsible person. It is a choice you need to make. Why is my wife always naked around the house?
Do you have a lot of deliveries?Isn't it okay for a married man to have a girlfriend?
No. I can elaborate on this answer, but… Okay. I think “no,” says it all, but if you want to have a girlfriend, divorce your wife. It’s kind of ethical.

I thought this was obvious.
“There is always a solution to any problem. Find opportunities in any circumstance. Never become a victim.”-- Lailah Gifty Akita
Maybe you’re using the wrong bait. Just saying. If I'm evil, why does it hurt to be told that?
Maybe you don’t know why people think you’re evil. If people tell you this, you might need to introspect to see why they might think so. Sometimes we get into a personal comfort zone that rubs people wrong. Then again, it could be everybody else not understanding you.
Why doesn’t anyone want to interact with me on Quora? Why do my questions so rarely get answered?
I don’t answer questions that make little sense. Try to keep your questions short and to the point. What defines good political leadership?
It helps to know what the people want, not what you want to give them. An ability to listen, question, and to understand. The ability to work with good people to get the job done. “Good political leadership” is not about you, it is about serving the people. What has been your experience as a leader?
23 years in the military, and 21 years of those as a leader. 17 years as a corporate liaison with a premier Institutional Review Board, again, as a leader.
Why do people constantly misuse the word jealousy when they mean envy?
Try this:
"Jealousy and envy both involve a feeling of desire for what another person has, but jealousy is usually thought to be more negative - it often involves resentment toward the other person. Envy is also a negative feeling - like a mix of admiration and discontent - but the word doesn’t usually imply hostility. Another difference is that envy can be used as both a noun and a verb.”-- Dictionary.com

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)
Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.
I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion in an arena of mutual respect concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.
We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
