Questioning Anger, Future, Obersity, Hypocrisy, and Thinking

“We all have different perspectives to life. We all do take different decisions in life each day based on our convictions. We may take wrong or right decisions knowingly and or unknowingly. We may regard the decisions of others as right or wrong. We may have a right or wrong reasons to judge others. We have a choice to condemn or uplift others regardless of their situation. May we, instead of finding reasons to condemn, find reasons to uplift others.”
-- Ernest Agyemang Yeboah

What does it mean when someone who likes to plan, asks you to plan something. So you plan something and they don’t like it enough, and they get silently angry?
It means they like to be on top. They ask you to do what they know you can’t, so they can stay on top. Even if your plan was excellent, they would find fault.

Why do people expect so much out of me like give me a break?

Give yourself a break. What people expect of you is due to what they think you are capable of. If you want a “break” from their expectations, then don’t be what they expect. It is up to you.

What type of person would pretend to be talking to your dead father and best friend and telling you details about things that regard important decisions?
A manipulator.

How can you briefly explain "Respect begets respect"?

You are supposed to get what you give, in a “respectable” society. If you show respect to someone, you should get that respect back in kind. What you give you should get back. However, you don’t have to respect the person in order to respect the position they hold.

How do you balance tradition with innovation in your career?

There is no balance… unless your career is in the crapper. Tradition stagnates innovation, and innovation keeps your career on the future’s “cutting edge.”

What will you do if you know your biggest enemy is you?

Conquer the enemy. I was my biggest enemy until I became aware. Now, I keep my senses around me. I see when that part of me is gathering, and I take a moment to be more aware of myself and be a better person.

“We’re our own worst enemy and our own best friend.”
-- Donna Goddard
Should the future look like the future?
The future is what it is. Before I finish answering this, I will have moved into the future. The future, for me, looks a lot like the past of a few minutes ago. What you want is for the future to look “futuristic” so there is a line we can point to and say, “This is the future.” Unfortunately, the future tends to look like yesterday. There are developments that keep us moving forward, but we really don’t give them much notice. It is what it is, day by day, into the future.
Are people who reject the idea of REBIRTH, missing out on the fun that people who believe in REBIRTH are having? The idea cannot be disproved.  It is fascinating and fires up imagination, creativity, conversations, movies, and books!
Who cares? If you believe, you are a step ahead of those who do not. It may turn out that there is no rebirth. But, if there is, those who believe will reap the benefit, while those who do not will simply die. One needs to have faith.
If [this site] is asking questions and giving answers, what's the point. Where's the human interaction?
“If” is the bigger question here. Personally, I have not seen this.
What would you choose, be looked upon as the evil person in order to save someone? Or would you rather stay within good and watch them suffer?

Saving someone is a selfless act performed by someone who believes in doing what is right. If someone sees this as evil, they need to be ignored. Doing what is right is the only focus one should have. Someone’s opinion of you is only their opinion. Rise above it.
Author's comment: So, what it is I’m saying is, if what you did was regarded as evil. So for the sake of the argument, if you had to kill somebody to save them pain knowing you would be perceived as evil. They were unaware of that fact and believed that they would be fine but you know otherwise.

My reply: Bad choice.

Would you like to take a picture and ask people if they can guess your age and nationality?
I’ve done this. If they don’t know my last name, then people are off the mark of my nationality, but they see me as younger than I am.
What are some reasons why people believe that online romance is love?
They don’t realize their “love” interest might have several more interests on the line. If you can’t trust a person you see face to face, why would you trust an “online” romance? This is truly silly and asking for a world of hurt.
“The future of online relationships will be shaped by our ability to balance the convenience of the digital world with the depth of human connection.”

How do you treat obersity?
If I knew what “obersity” was, I could probably answer it.
Why do I question if everything I do is genuine?
If you do it, it is genuinely you doing it. If you didn’t mean to do it, if you don’t remember doing it, is another question.
What made you feel proud?
Both of my children grew up to make me feel proud.
How do I deal with the fact that I find a lot of stuff really funny and it’s really easy to make me laugh?
Why do you need to deal with this? You have an easy sense of humor. Other people need to get a grip if they find fault in this.
What do you suppose would make someone believe that succeeding is not possible?
Not trying.
Can you give examples of borderline manipulation tactics?

You can’t “borderline” when you manipulate. That would be like “borderline” drinking a beer. you either do it or you don’t. It would be a lot easier to simply ask someone to do something than to screw with them. Manipulators are people who can’t get anything done any other way. Unless you’re in the Intelligence field and “manipulation” is your job, this is a sad reflection on humanity.
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in a democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct, or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
-- Edward Bernays
In what ways are we tempted to be hypocritical?
Do as I say, not as I do.
How does one ask the needed questions for the required understanding?
The question needs to begin with who, what, when, where, why, or how. There is no bad question unless you ask it more than once. All questions are required for needed understanding. An instructor that doesn’t open themselves to questions, puts students at risk.
What kind of answers do you like, short or long?
It depends on the question. Some require a bit of explanation, while others can be understood with one word.
Is it possible to revise estimations once a project is underway?
Yes, but you’d better hope the estimations are lower. If costs rise it had better be part of the pre-project briefing that certain costs may rise due to issues. This is one reason why “contracts” are a necessary evil.
Extroverts, after saying hi to a person you just met, what do you ask them?
“Wanna party?”
I learned the first 200 numbers of pi in my head in about 4 hours. Now I have no idea if this is good, and if it is, how can I leverage my memory in studying?
If you learned 200 numbers of pi in 4 hours, there is nothing you can do to leverage your memory. It is fine. Leverage will simply prime your mind to explode all over people who could care less.
"I thought I hated math but then I found out about pi."

How do we think positively and negatively?
It depends on what you want to think. One moment we can think positively, and the next moment, negatively. It is a choice. Is this another trick question?
Do guys prefer big boobs or small boobs? Why?
My Dad always said that more than a mouthful is a waste. Was he a wise man?
Why aren't people ashamed to play stupid?
Are they really playing? Most people I know who “play” stupid are either in the Intelligence field or they’re walking on the razor’s edge that separates "stupid" from "smart."
What do people mean when they say, “Logic will only take you so far”?
When logic fails, you should “think out of the box.”
How does one sense that the world is scared of them?
When the world trips over themselves to plant a big wet kiss on your bum. She better be a decent-looking woman, or my lips aren’t smooching anything. Scary would be a woman I won’t plant a kiss anywhere.

What are some ways to get a mentor?
Ask.
“I am not a teacher, but an awakener.”

(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch - it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either view any more right or wrong than the other. Opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form their own opinions, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

I fervently hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion in an arena of mutual respect concerning those opinions offered. After twenty-three years of military intelligence, I believe that engaging each other in this manner, and in this arena, is a way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience... and what we do afterward.
