A Trick Question?

(Calvin is hammering nails into the coffee table.)

Mom: "CALVIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE COFFEE TABLE?!?"

Calvin: "Is this some sort of trick question, or what?"
-- Bill Watterson, catoonist, "Calvin and Hobbes"

Have the last few years affected your faith in humanity? Has it increased or decreased your opinion of people in general and in what ways?
I try not to judge people. It is increasingly hard when people are such hypocrites. The anti-fascists are more fascist than those they accuse of being so. Black Lives Matter, a hate group, beats, shoots, and harasses those who think all lives matter, proving the BLM will kill anyone standing in their way. Those who peacefully advocate freedom of speech are cut off and beaten by those who want to be heard.

My faith in humanity hasn’t been shaken, as they are everything I expect from “children” with weapons. My country in the hands of these children? Well, gun sales haven’t risen much in the South, ammunitions sales have. We already have enough armament to fend off immaturity.
How do I find out literally everything, anything, all things, something, and whatever that it is and isn't with me?
You don’t know this already? I’d say you have to start paying attention to yourself. Start with everything, anything, all things, and whatever it is, and isn’t, with you. It won’t be easy but, then, nothing in life is.
How much is a million-dollar business worth?
Uh… this is a trick question, right?
Should you have to watch your girlfriend’s kids while the mom goes to work? Shouldn’t she ask their dad? I still have a life also.
Sound like she’s found someone to use. Let her know you’re onto it. Hey, the worst that can happen is you won’t get laid by her ever again, but you won’t be used by her either… unless, you’re into that, but then she should have explained to you that she’s dominant in the relationship. Has she spanked you, yet?
“Nothing but a Thou can be loved and a Thou can exist only for an I. A society in which no one was conscious of himself as a person over against other persons, where none could say 'I love you', would, indeed, be free from selfishness, but not through love. It would be 'unselfish' as a bucket of water is unselfish.”
-- C. S. Lewis
What is the most important point you can make right now?
All lives matter.
Can AI read your mind?
Not yet.
Why must all good things end?
Sooner or later we all come to an end. We will leave this life for another. Even in this, though, not all good things necessarily end. Some good things, some good people, will follow us into the next life. Better not to worry about good things that come and go. Such is life. Better to concern ourselves with being happy always, and enjoying the good things yet to come.
Has the USA lost some of its heart and soul over the last 3 years?
No, but the socialists keep trying anyway.
What do you do when you stop identifying as human?
You identify as what you really are, or you continue to live a lie.
“Once we attain self-awareness, we stop becoming the victims of worthless comparisons, identity clashes and, of course, idle mindsets that make further progress impossible.”
-- Dr. Prem Jagyasi
Why did Jesus say that it is difficult for a rich man to find the road which leads to life?
Money is the root of all evil, for most people. It is difficult, but not impossible, for a rich man to find the road which leads to life. It has much to do with what he does with his riches. Does he live selfishly or selflessly? We all have choices and decisions we must make that affect our future lives.
What piece of wisdom is on your mind?
Happiness. One must learn to be happy always!
If you could pick a large group of people and have them officially labeled as a cult, who would you select?
Cults are all about brainwashing and mind-control. Socialism is about the same. Since Black Lives Matter and Antifa are socialist hate groups who want everyone to think their way, mind-control, I choose them.
“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
-- Issac Asimov
What positive things will the year 2020 most likely be remembered for?
The Space X Crew Dragon Spacecraft, the touchscreens onboard, and the new spacesuit designs. Amazing what private corporations can accomplish that NASA cannot.
What are some simple things that cost you nothing which can give you peace of mind?
Happiness! All it costs is the choice, the decision, to be happy always. The choice is to make better decisions, to keep all drama from your life, and to understand that failure is simply an opportunity to learn.
Does an average-looking man fall in love with an average woman like him or does he fall in love with a physically very beautiful woman?
Is he falling in love or is he falling in lust? You fall in true love with someone who truly loves you. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Average men and women find attractive partners as much as any other combination. If you base love on looks, it really isn’t love, is it?
“That's always seemed so ridiculous to me, that people want to be around someone because they're pretty. It's like picking your breakfast cereals based on color instead of taste.”
-- John Green, author

Editor's Note
(Re: disclaimer cum "get out of jail free" card)

Before you go getting your panties in a bunch, it is essential to understand that this is just an opinion site and, as such, can be subjected to scrutiny by anyone with a differing opinion. It doesn't make either opinion any more right or wrong than the other. An opinion, presented in this context, is a way of inciting others to think and, hopefully, to form opinions of their own, if they haven't already done so. This is also why, occasionally, I will present an "opinion" just to stir an emotional pot. Where it may sound like I agree with the statements made, I'm more interested in getting others to consider an alternate viewpoint.

It is my fervent hope that we keep open and active minds when reading opinions and while engaging in peaceful and constructive discussion, in an arena of mutual respect, concerning those opinions put forth. After over twenty years with military intelligence, I have come to believe engaging each other in this manner and in this arena is the way we will learn tolerance and respect for differing beliefs, cultures, and viewpoints.

We all fall from grace, some more often than others; it is part of being human. God's test for us is what we learn from the experience, and what we do afterward.
